Classes are held on our outside deck. Classes will be cancelled due to cold, rain or unsafe conditions.

Donna Barrett

Donna Barrett is a 200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor specializing in Restorative Hatha and Anahata Yoga. Anahata, or "heart chakra", is the fourth primary chakra, according to Hindu Yogic, Shakta and Buddhist Tantric traditions. In Sanskrit, anahata means "unhurt, unstruck, and unbeaten", which perfectly describes both Donna, and her practice. Regular Class Schedule: Wed & Friday at 9:30am & Saturday at 10 am.

Katherine Matthews

Katherine Mathews teaches a Hatha Flow Yoga class. Her class focuses on connecting body and mind through breathing techniques and postures; with emphasis on core strength, balance and flexibility. She received her certification through Aura Wellness Center. She has been practicing yoga for over 6 years.

Magen Storrie

Teaching yoga has become a joyful passion for me. When I teach yoga I'm able to connect with not only my body but with my students also. I'm originally from San Antonio and been on the Coastal Bend for 10 years now! I've been certified with Aura Wellness Center for the last 2 years and before that had been practicing yoga for 5 years. I currently teach with Texas Surf Camps as their SUP Yoga Instructor and have a few regular classes around the island of Port Aransas! My style of teaching is a flow of Hatha Vinyasa. I create strength, endurance and challenging sequences with a wonderful mix of movement and flow. I have a very versatile approach on teaching yoga and I am able to design sequences for all of my students. From first time yogis to regularly practicing yogis! Meet me at the Balinese Spa every Tuesday morning at 9:30 am & Wednesday 6 pm for donation based Wednesday, Wine & Yoga for a wonderful yoga experience in their gorgeous, 2nd story and open air studio!

The sweetest and most full of energy teacher! Bunny is an amazing yoga teacher that focuses on strength and creative approaches to yoga. Come to Bunny's class at 9:30 am on Thursday!

About Our Classes

Hatha yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely.


Vinyasa yoga, in which movement is synchronized to the breath, is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes. This style is also called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance.
